Project Description
WI Assistant is a tool to assist with Work Item actions in TFS.

Both linking and moving WorkItems is made easy with WI Assistant. You'll no longer have to move WorkItems or create links one by one.
It's developed in C# 3 using WPF and it supports TFS 2008

WI Assistant was created and tested using the Scrum for Team System templates. However, it should work with most any template out there. (Though you may need to edit a few xml files to get it customized.)

WI Assistant is a tool to assist with Work Item actions in TFS.

WI Assistant makes it easier for TFS Users to link TFS Work Items in Microsoft's Team Foundation Server. You'll no longer have to create each link one by one.
It's developed in C# 3 using WPF. It supports TFS 2008

To make use of the (upcomming) "move items between projects" functionallity you will need to be a member of the Team Foundation Administrators group or a member of the Project Administrators. This is because small changes are made to the WorkItemTypes used. (These are the two changes made: The source work items have a Moved state added and the destination types temporarily have a transition added to allow creating the workitem directly to the target state.)
